Having noticed discrepancy of spelling, I would point out the name of his residence is correctly Llannerch-Panna. (Not Llannerch-Banna, which is the Welsh name of the village of Penley, given in his ONDB sketch, nor Llannerch-parva in Debrett).Cloptonson (talk) 11:32, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

MOS:NOPIPE says: "As per WP:NOTBROKEN and § Link specificity above, do not use a piped link where it is possible to use a redirected term that fits well within the scope of the text". So Llywelyn2000, what is your rationale for reverting my change which, per MOS:NOPIPE, used a piped link from the redirected term which exactly fits well within the scope of the text?
That's what redirects are for, to avoid the clutter and confusion of pipes in the page source. They do not change the look of the page or what the reader sees, or even the page the direct leads too, so I cannot see any reasonable argument against complying with MOS:NOPIPE here. -- DeFacto (talk). 14:03, 30 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
