This article (George A. Tice) has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page. edit

This article, which I have recently expanded from a very brief stub, has received the following response from the editors:

I believe that some of these points are based on an earlier version of the revision, which did not have the references which have since been added.

To answer the points raised in order:

1. Some citations have been added, and more will follow. I believe the formatting of the citations from critical writing about George Tice, mostly in the New work Times was a primary cause of the problem. I have since added other references and re-formatted the NYT opinions of Tice's work to make it clear that these are the opinions of various critics employed by the New York Times.

2. I have added some footnotes to the scanty biographical literature about George Tice and will add more soon.

3. The challenge to the neutrality of this article comes from the New York TImes quotations, which come from critical articles about the artist's books and exhibitions. Most are positive; one is negative. This reflects the highly positive response to Tice's work in the general and specialized press. I have now formatted these, so that it is absolutely clear that I am citing the opinion of other authors.

4. I have counted 65 links to other Wikipedia articles. This surely must be sufficient to integrate the article on George A. Tice into Wikipedia.

I have removed the stub template, since, at 6,000 words, the article is hardly a stub.
