Garshankar is very beauitful place which is very near to himachal pradesh.ut the literecy rate is very low compare to other districts and the transportation facility is not available in border area. even the govt is not taking any steps for the improvment of interior area . people are uneducated they have no income source govt should take steps to improves the livlyhood

Garhshankar is very beautiful city. It is a lovely & best area. The weather is very different from the oher place. The peoples of this area are very sincere & helpful. It is the unpoluted area & no industries.

Harman vill is located in the Shivalik Valley. The distance from garhshankar 24 km. The meaning of beet is backward area. Because some years ago there is no facilities of education, less facilities of transportation & all the news reached very late so the area name called Beet.But At the present the progress is increase but very less. The Population of Harman is 600. The education is very less. Girls are less educated because the parents are not educated. The monthly income of the villagers is very less.
