- Thanks, I changed everything as you suggested with two exceptions. I linked rowboat to wiktionary, and I left Delaware in after Lenape as that was suggested at an FAC a while ago. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:00, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for making the changes. I am not sure if there'd be a COI if I promoted it to GA or not. Dincher (talk) 18:03, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
- I understand and can wait, thanks again for your review. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 18:08, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

GA Review

Reviewer: Arsenikk (talk) 09:11, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've always wondered about this one: when saying "U.S. state of Pennsylvania", why is it considered important to link to "U.S. state" but not important to link to, or even mention, "United States".
- I've adopted this as a result of experiences in different FACs. For some reason linking to United States is sometimes considered WP:OVERLINKing, but linking to US state is not. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- I would have though presenting the basics of the lake (size, length etc.) before the various ownerships would be more natural, but this is beyond a GA review.
- Most of the ownership is in the History section, but it seemed helpful to briefly identify William Reynolds Ricketts, as he is quoted on the lake's size and height. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- 'American Revolutionary War' needs linking, so people who do not know when it is can look it up. Consider adding a year as well.
- Thanks for linking this, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- As 'circa' has been assimilated into the English language as a common word, it shouldn't be in italics. (not strictly a GA criteria)
- Switched to "about", thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not all the {{convert}}s are have the right number of digits, so I've forced some of them to one decimal.
- Thanks very much, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- If you're going to use raw formatting for square meters, use
2
, not the symbol ². (not strictly a GA criteria)- Not sure why that did not use the convert template, thanks for the fix. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- To convert delta temperatures, use
{{convert|12|F-change}}
- I did not know that - thanks very much! Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- I always find that placing the {{commonscat}} box in a two-column reference area uses a lot of space, because it takes up the space of almost a full column. Perhaps move it somewhere else?
- There is a space for it in the Geobox, so I moved it there. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Congratulations with a good article. Interesting article about a lake I would otherwise never had heard of. Arsenikk (talk) 09:11, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for your edits and review, I will address the individual points today. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 12:24, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- All replied to, thanks yet again. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
Additions after FAC
editI got Tomasak's Biography of Colonel R Bruce Ricketts and have added about 5 kB to the article based on that - diff. I plan to ask the FAC and PR reviewers to take a second look at the article and make sure it still reads smoothly and clearly, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:55, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- The additions are good and the article is still wonderful. Dincher (talk) 17:55, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for checking it out (again), Ruhrfisch ><>°° 18:12, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Commonscat
edit<moved from user talk Docu> Thanks for your edit to Ganoga Lake - it already had {{Commonscat}} in the Geobox, so I think it should only have one - do you have a preference? Thanks again, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:34, 2 July 2010 (UTC) </moved>
- Hi, I wasn't aware of the geobox feature and most user would probably expect it with the external links. If you prefer, you could use {{commonscat-inline}} -- 签名 sig at 11:56, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- I just removed it from the Geobox. Thanks! Ruhrfisch ><>°° 12:29, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
