Schleswig-Holstein edit

... since Schleswig's population was mostly Danish ...

... Because of the growing national consciousness of the predominantly German population in the two duchies ...

So... was Schleswig mainly a duchy of Danes or of Germans? Or is there actually no conflict, and the second text means that S-H seen as a whole had mainly German inhabitants? Then maybe the text could be rephrased to state this more clearly. clacke 23:15, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Schleswig was mixed, and still is: German part of Schleswig still has a Danish minority (and Frisians) and the Danish part Norther Schleswig/South Jutland still has a tiny German minority — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.5.184.243 (talk) 10:23, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Expansion edit

I've expanded by replacing the previous version with a translation of the featured German wikipedia article. I hope no-one objects. It would be nice of someone could tweak the schematic image of the constitution... athinaios | Talk 15:36, 14 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re-assessment? edit

Why is this article still rated start class? It seems that the article was substantially expanded based on a translation from the German article, which has been rated a featured article. It may be warranted to re-assess the article.--Mschiffler (talk) 19:07, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bias? edit

Does the sentence "Craftsmen like Robert Blum or Wilhelm Wolff were associated almost exclusively with the radical democratic Left, as they knew the social problems of the underprivileged classes from personal observations" not imply that anyone with a personal observation of the underprivileged classes will be a member of the radical democratic left? That is not a tenable or correct statement, surely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.197.15.138 (talk) 07:38, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
