In addition to plays, he was the author of a Christmas Carol text, "Venid, pastorcillos", widely published in Christian hymnbooks to the present day. He also wrote two other hymn texts instances of which are documented in the Hymnary.org database. Person page at Hymnary.org The hymns may not rise to the bar, but the Christmas song is as noteworthy (albeit from a different angle) as the plays/romances currently mentioned. --Haruo (talk) 20:21, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
