editIs there sufficient information to link Rossetti as a student of Henri Victor Regnault? The article here claims a link citing [Casellato, S.; Pigatto, L.; eds.; Professori di materie scientifiche all'Università di Padova nell'ottocento, Lint: Trieste, 1996. this article], which I have not managed to find. This document similarly links the two as having had a student-teacher relationship around 1864, which matches well with the time that Rossetti became a Professor at Padua (1866).
The link between the two is genealogically interesting, since it would allow an extension of the "Fermi" physics ancestry back to Paulus Venetus (1368-1428).

- I agree that this would be an important (or, at least interesting) connection to establish, but I can't offer any progress on the question myself. Spatrick99 (talk) 18:04, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
