editThe new title is misleading--the hazardous part is not the raceme. Any suggestions for a more descriptive title?--Curtis Clark 21:07, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Diaspore
editThis article needs to define the term diaspore, a technical word used in the title of the article, within the article, probably in the first paragraph. --KP Botany (talk) 20:18, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

General or specific term
editThe term foxtail seems to be used as a general term and that might confuse people. The Encyclopædia Britannica says it is in the genera Alopecurus and Setaria of the family Poaceae but I do not know what that means. I assume that that definition excludes some of the plants listed in this article. Sam Tomato (talk) 03:41, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
