I've decided based on this comment, and the work that has gone into that article, that the subject may very well be notable and the article isn't asserting it properly. As such, may I request that someone change the article to make the importance of the subject clear? -- SCZenz 20:40, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

• Removing importance tag after the addition of reviews and already deemed-notable discography based on comments by R paraphrased from discussion on the WP:Music talk page here: The WP:MUSIC criteria do not mention anywhere that the bands must be national in scope. Many local bands have in fact released albums (crit#3), have been featured in magazines (crit#4) or indeed are among the most prominent representative of a notable style or the local scene of a city (crit #6). Indeed the point of the criteria is to weed out the examples cited such as teenage garage bands, etc. and not in any way those local bands that have been featured in local music media, and have locally-successful records. Four Deadly Questions have a challenge for innocent ears and jaded cranks: Are you walking the tricky and sometimes harsh path of rock'n'roll righteousness, or are you feckless in your musical choices and without devotion to loud amplified noise? 4DQ play their songs with an intensity of rock’n’roll Pentecostals - they are true believers.
4DQ are just over a year old, rattling their noisy instruments and screaming like their baby teeth are coming in. Members, though, have been the playing in New York punk and hardcore bands for nearly a decade. 4DQ features ex-guitarist of the amazing, pissed-off Dick Army, as well a current member of Books Lie.
The band played their first show on a rooftop in East Brooklyn in July of 2003. With the rock'n'roll faithful in attendance – NYHC, garage rock fanatics, crusties and Ramones-maniacs – everyone was anxious to hear the new band preach the gospel. The attending cretins were rewarded with songs like "Gotta Let it Go" and "Those Creeping Doubts." Since their far-from-immaculate conception, 4DQ has continued to play jump-around, chant-along, beer-tossing sets with bands like Toys That Kill and The Modern Machines, as well as their local counterparts, The Shemps and I Farm.
