Fair use rationale for Image:Fossilcompany.jpg edit

Image:Fossilcompany.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:14, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fossil Group would like to note some errors in this article edit

I am the Assistant General Counsel for Fossil Group, Inc. I was hoping to note some errors we see in the Article about our company with the hope that they might be corrected.

In the header it lists "Now Coach NY" as a brand owned by Fossil. We do not own this brand. The proprietary brands of Fossil are listed in our 10-k (at the bottom of page 7): https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/883569/000088356916000005/fosl-20150103x10k.htm

In the Company History section it states "The Watch Station International chain was purchased from Luxottica/ Sunglass Hut in December 2007". We only purchased the trademark portfolio, not the entire chain (i.e. we did not purchase any stores or take over any retail locations, we simply bought the rights to the WATCH STATION INTERNATIONAL brand name).

In the License business section - I note that we no longer have licenses with Columbia Sportswear, Frank Gehry, Callaway Golf, or Davis Cup (although we did have licenses with these organizations in the past). Also, I note that "Skagen" and "Michele" are brands owned by Fossil, so should also not be listed as "licensed watch lines". The list of our current license agreements are listed in the latest 10-k (top of page 8) https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/883569/000088356916000005/fosl-20150103x10k.htm

Also in the block on the right side of the page, please note that our COO is no longer Michael Barnes. It is now John White. And Tom Kartsotis is no longer the Chairman. This is listed in our 2016 Proxy https://www.fossilgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/proxy-statement-19.pdf — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agcfossil (talkcontribs) 19:31, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
