Missing text edit

The second paragraph ends, “At this place, believed to be somewhere around current-day La Salle, New York (…)”.

What about that place?

Then the third paragraph begins, “La Salle built a larger boat…”.

Larger than what?

There was a prior boat that sank, but we don’t say that here, nor is it terribly relevant. I think there’s a block of text missing here, possibly as much as parts of two paragraphs.

Claiming that they took Le Griffon apart and portaged it around the Niagara escarpment is sheer speculation. 168.103.230.2 (talk) 21:56, 2 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
