Oh, who cares?
editHonestly! Surely people have better things to worry about...
- It's amazing what other people care about. I like to believe we are all different for a reason. JohnCub 23:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

How many stores?
editThere seems to be total confusion as to how many branches Fopp had. The article currently says "over 100" and cites this source, [1] but this seems to be an error by the BBC, given that this more recent article states 81.[2] The article also states that there were "50 Fopp stores and 37 outlets branded as Music Zone", yet the first BBC article states Fopp purchased 67 branches from MZ. Could someone clean up please? Cheers, DWaterson 10:37, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Edinburgh
editI'm sure Fopp used to have two stores in Edinburgh - does this mean that the shop on (I think) Cockburn Street, just off the Royal Mile, has now closed? 217.155.20.163 13:32, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Virgin megadstores deal
editThe paragraph below seems confusing - and the BBC reference does not explain the 'last ditch deal' and how it related to Fopp in sufficient detail for the lay reader to understand it - is the implication that Virgin might have merged with part of Fopp? Could someone who knows more about this maybe clarify this comment in the admin article? Curran2
"On June 29, 2007 they called in receivers after a last-ditch deal that would have allowed Sir Richard Branson a way to devolve himself from the loss making Virgin Megastores without the negative PR of closing down multiple locations, but this deal failed to win support from Virgin's main supplier."
Timeline makes no sense
editAccording to this article the Fopp stores closed on 29th June 2007 but started to reopen on 24 May 2007. Erm...
- Well spotted. It seems that this was changed by an anonymous user almost two years ago, and then badly corrected by another anonymous user. The original version agrees with reports such as this Guardian 2007-07-31 report so I'll revert these changes. --David Edgar (talk) 14:14, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
