editFolly Beach is a place where you live life at 3/4 time. As you come down Folly Rd look to your right and you'll see the "boat". Most everyone has painted the boat. My family and I have done so several times. To welcome each other as we come home and to say goodbye to loved ones, like our Mom when we lost her to the last enemy, death. At one time as you drove over Folly Bridge you could see the Atlantic Ocean. Now you see the Holiday Inn. Not near as attractive!! There is another Holliday Inn owned by a local family and been there a lot longer than the monstrocity at the end of Folly Rd. The locals are friendly and if you come in the winter you'll pretty much have the beach to yourself. Make sure you go out on the pier. Have lunch at "Planet Follywood". Don't forget breakfast at the "Lost Dog" you may see us there.

Voting patterns relevancy
editLooking at most cities' and large towns' wiki, few if any mention "Voting patterns". Is this article saying the topic of voting pattern at this location so important, it must be mentioned? How many other SC locations, where the population is below 3,000 mentioned? What about surrounding States? Is Morris Island lighthouse built in 1876 or floods and hurricanes that passed through killing people not so important? Just asking...
Public city
editIs there such a thing as a "public city"? I see that the article used to say "semi-private city" until someone changed it to "public city": Special:Diff/1054531018. Does "semi-private city" mean anything either? 2601:640:4000:3170:0:0:0:F6D3 (talk) 03:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Folly incorporation date
editFolly is celebrating 50 years this summer 2023 but the quick links section says 1957? Here’s a link to one of the pages about it. https://visitfolly.com/50-years-of-folly/ 69.248.235.106 (talk) 23:55, 15 May 2023 (UTC)
