All tracks credited to Harper?

- Ah! it's definitely a joke, but H.ash was the name given so I guess we should include it somewhere. By the way, thanks for your efforts here, I know how long it takes to write a good article, how much goes into it, etc... so good on you for making / taking the time. - Since the later reissues credit everything to Harper and it's clearly a joke, I've removed the H. Ash credit. If anyone thinks it's important to restore you should probably be aware that H. Ash was credited for everything except "I Hate the White Man", "Francesca" and "Hell's Angels" on the original release (images). If he's to make a return, some sort of explanatory note would probably be good idea. Amedee123 (talk) 10:14, 2 February 2019 (UTC)

- Nothing in a talk section is made clear to the average reader, who will never click that tab. If we're going to go by the original release then the previous version was still wrong - all of the tracks, bar three, were credited to H. Ash. Personally, I think it suits the purpose of the encyclopedia to state that all the songs were written by Roy Harper, which they were, and that the alternative credit is trivial information. However, I won't object if someone wants to add H. Ash back in, but I think it should be clear (in the article, not the talk section) that that's still Harper. Sourcing that might be a bit hard, so going by the credits of later reissues makes sense to me (in terms of useful, non-confusing information). Also the credits should match the original, so everything except "I Hate the White Man", "Francesca" and "Hell's Angels" credited to H. Ash. Amedee123 (talk) 23:36, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
- Personally, I'd like to see it back in the article with the corrections, and explanation you've mentioned. I see you've used Discogs as a source for a change on the article page itself, Discogs also mentions H.Ash on some of the 'Flat and Baroque' entries, the name is visible on photographs of the LP versions, and Discogs even gives H.Ash an artist page too (as one of Harper's aliases) https://www.discogs.com/artist/1158292-H-Ash.
