Whomever is editing the reception section, is trying to censor the public backlash against the flag. The overall reception to the flag has been vocally negative. The editor has removed portions of this mentioned in the article and instead replaced it with the line

"Others countered that the wildcat is more associated with Caithness, and an eagle is more unifying as being prominent across the county."

This is incredibly misleading, as the ones making those comments are those apart of the judging panel and another individual with close ties to the designer.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tikileaks (talkcontribs) 23:29, 13 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

This description is very biased in favour of the design which has been widely criticised in the negative. Also the vice Lord Lt is clearly wrong with regard to the Wild Cat issue. This article seems to follow the same pattern as has been witnessed of social media by those connected to the flag design. Ive gone some way to add a balanced point of view and added the relevant references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Woollylawnmower (talkcontribs) 08:30, 23 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Woollylawnmower: Please stop repeatedly replacing the article contents with your own POV version of the article, such as your latest: removing the (sourced) response of the lieutenancy to the controversy. You're obviously very invested in the controversy, but Wikipedia must maintain a neutral point of view (which does not include describing someone you disagree with as a member of the "old authoritarian aristocracy"), as expressed by reliable sources. --Inops (talk) 22:20, 25 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
