Plot Summaries
editHello everyone. I've been updating the episode summaries for Fargo's season 4 as I watch them. And, admittedly, they are a bit wordy. The show is almost finished. After the last episode, what's everyone's take? Do we like my summaries as is? Should I shorten them? I was also planning on writing brief, spoiler-free character notes in the cast section too. Maybe some plot details can just be transferred to those. Let me know how you guys feel. I'm open to critiques. --Josephmpasquale (talk) 21:03, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for your summary work, it is very much appreciated. Realistically the summaries should be trimmed and should be around 200 words each per guidelines at MOS:TV; though don't sacrifice clarity just to meet a word count. I agree on adding short character descriptions in the cast section, so the characters are already established so you don't have to spend time (word count) explaining them in the plot summaries. Thanks again! Drovethrughosts (talk) 21:41, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
Satchel Cannon's bio
editThere seems to be an issue with Satchel Cannon's cast summary. Some editors want to include a major detail from the last episode where it is revealed he grew up to become Mike Milligan, a character from season 2. This is not only a spoiler but it also isn't directly stated, rather heavily implied. I personally think we should leave it out of the character's bio and include it in the ep. 11 summary. But if enough people want it in, why not. Thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josephmpasquale (talk • contribs) 03:38, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's a salient piece of information about the character and we don't edit for plot details someone might not have seen after an episode is broadcast. It stays in. ----Dr.Margi ✉ 06:46, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
