Fuhrer vs. Fűhrer edit

To pick a nit here, the Fascist title was "Fűhrer", with a u-umlaut. While I have no objection to the article using a form of the word without the umlaut (most of us in the English-speaking world do not have keyboards with that character), the umlaut ought to appear in the text of the article, & there ought to be redirects from the variants with "Fűhrer" & "Fuehrer". -- llywrch (talk) 16:27, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Inconsistency or maybe error? edit

Der Spiegel says that the commander of the mission was Werner Junck. There's a different name in the directive. Are we certain of the sourcing for that?

Also, the unit was named "Special Force Junck" (Sonderkommando Junck in German), or whatever the commander's last name was. The person in charge of the unit was the squadron commander, referred to as the Fliegerführer. See here for sourcing Hitler's forgotten Iraq mission--Nazis over Baghdad. I think it is correct as is. Felmy was commander of the entire mission, which he oversaw from Greece, while Junck was commander of the aerial (Luftwaffe squad that flew to Iraq) component only.--FeralOink (talk) 05:03, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
