editWhile I tend to agree with the removal of spam/forum links, I see no problem with manufacturer links on the article.
virtually every article that has an available manufacturer link, makes it available - this seems to imply consensus.
We cannot copy/paste from the manufacturer site, and citing it might be problematic, so it seems to be exactly the sort of site we should be linking to

as they are being removed, lets see if we can get some consensus either way, rather than just reverting eachother.
