University of Louisiana edit
The University of Lousiana was fictional when the film was made (1988) and during the film's period (early 1950s). However, since then the University of Louisiana System was created. The system's flagship institution, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, now brands its sports teams as the "Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns." During the time period of the film, those teams would have been known as the "Southwestern Louisiana Bulldogs." Timothy Horrigan (talk) 01:06, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
