Proposed deletion edit
I am proposing the deletion of the article as it is poorly displayed and contains information drawn from various other articles which are adequately displayed there. It adds very little to Wikipedia, possibly bordering on being unencyclopedic. Hugahoody (talk) 23:01, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
- I found it very useful for bringing all age limits together in one place - ir was my first port of call in trying to answer a question about petrol filling stations (see below). I also found it perfectly well displayed - but if you have ideas for improvemmets, by all means make them. So I'd be happy to see it stay. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:02, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
- I too am in favor of keeping the article. It does an excellent job of bringing the scattered information from different articles together. Petrol filling stations edit
In the UK some petrol filling stations display age limits - i.e. a black number 15 inside a red cirle, with a red diagonal stripe over it, and an instruction beneath, e.g.: "No person under the age of 16 years is permitted to dispense petrol from the pump." But some do not. So presumably this is an optional industry advisory limit and not a legal requirement? I was wondering if other European countries have any similar regulation. Although I am guessing most of the information presented in this article can be found in the respective Wikipedia pages about laws in the respective countries, it still won't harm to either i. re-mention the proper references, or ii. create intra-wiki links to the specific sections of the individual articles. - Subh83 (talk | contribs) 01:20, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
