editThis edit is from an IP whose only other edit was clear vandalism to a New School related article. I know nothing about the Lang College, but would suggest that this edit should be looked at closely. - Jmabel | Talk 17:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Everything the user added and changed is correct. (checked 5/15/08)
article title
editThis article title is unwieldy, and IMO doesnt make sense. I suggest moving it to The New School, Eugene Lang College, or just Eugene Lang College. John Vandenberg 22:32, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
It is unwieldy and nonsensical, but, unfortunately, that's the official name of the school, so it should stand. 149.31.51.99 06:46, 20 December 2006 (UTC)SuperDav
Princeton Review
editI don't know if the Princeton Review list is necessary, perhaps we can simply comment that Lang was featured in several categories and the link to the Princeton Review's webpage to see the rankings. Cuffeparade 08:59, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
inaccurate history
editThe article says "Three years later, in 1975, the Freshman Year Program was expanded to a full undergraduate program and renamed The Seminar College."
I'm sure my correction would be considered original research or something, but I know as a 1977-78 student of the Freshman Year Program, Seminar College was still functionally distinct at that time. FYP took students after their junior year of high school (with a couple of exceptions) gave them one year of college credit, and then the students moved on to other institutions to finish their undergraduate degrees. Seminar College took only transfer students who had completed one year of college. Of my FYP class of about 60 students, only one or possibly two applied to and attended Seminar College the following year.
Some few years after that, the colleges were indeed combined into a single four year undergraduate program. Dvd Avins (talk) 06:45, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
