Thoery of age edit

If she was 15 when she was tried, she must have been born in 1771, not 1767. The date of her trial is clear from the trial transcript, but I don't know whether it is her age at trial that is wrong or the year of her birth.Aston 21:01, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

the Annandale properly edit

This sentence in Esther Abrahams#Life in New South Wales (with my emphasis added here) doesn't scan correctly:

... Robert ... commenced court proceedings in March 1829 against her, to have her declared insane and incapable of running the Annandale properly.

"the" was added recently. "Annandale" is a proper noun so wouldn't normally require "the" in front of it. I was going to just remove it, but I wonder if the sentence should be

... incapable of running the Annandale property.

which would make sense, with "Annandale" acting as an adjective. Mitch Ames (talk) 12:18, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
