Essence global
editThere is another more well known freethought organization Essence global in Kerala. The activities and news associated with that organization should not be added to the page of essence club.
The following items have been removed from the page as this events were in no way associated with essence club.

On may 1st of 2022 , a freethinker named Askar Hudavi , who identifies himself as an Ex-Muslim , was attempted to be kidnaped by his close relatives including brothers, brothers in law, uncle and few neighbors but the attempt was thwarted by local Samaritans and Kerala police. Asker accuse the kidnapping gang of attempted murder. Askar was later referred to a near by hospital after finishing the formalities in a Kollam police station. Askar was a "Hudavi" , a title given to Islamic scholars who are trained to defend Islam morally against the criticisms of Non-muslims and Atheist groups. Askar's mobile phone was destroyed in the incident and Kerala police has filed a case for man-handling , attempted kidnap, attempted robbery and murder.
