This is actually more of a traditional rhetorical-philological term than it is a modern linguistics term... AnonMoos (talk) 00:27, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the my favourite wikipedia page ever. OnlyTheWanderer — Preceding unsigned comment added by OnlyTheWanderer (talkcontribs) 01:21, 13 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes - I like it too. If only more pages were modelled on it ! It is short, to the point, well expressed without grammatical or semantic solecisms, and even the spelling seems to be correct. The sentences actually make sense ! Above all it is understandable - you come away feeling that you have learned something ! g4oep — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.96.60.31 (talk) 08:45, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Diacope edit

This word seems to be essentially identical, at least as far as wikipedia knows, to Diacope. They are both listed on Repetition (rhetorical device) with essentially the same description. Perhaps they should be merged, or if they are actually different, differentiated? Personman (talk) 03:55, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
