Review of Epargyreus clarus

edit

Overall, it was very easy to follow the content and learn about the species. I especially liked the shelter building information that explained the larvae behavior in detail. I made few minor edits but some of the main structural edits I made were 1) created a new section called Parental care to put information about oviposition under it and 2) created a separate "shelter building" subsection under the life cycle section. I thought dividing the sections this way made the article more clear but please let me know if you think differently.

Thank you! Sungjaepark (talk) 03:41, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Another review: I added a new section called “Interaction with plants” to talk about the species’ classification as a nectar thief. You might want to consider combining this section with the “Pest of crop plants” section. Overall, the information you have so far is good, and I found very little grammar mistakes on the page. However, I think you still need to add more information to really improve your article. Some sections you might want to work on the next time you edit may be the “Migration” and “Parental care” section. Y.shin (talk) 02:06, 30 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Edit from Behavioral Ecology Student

edit

Hi, this is a very comprehensive and well-written page! I made a few edits to make this page even better. First, I added citations to the second paragraph of the lead section because there were none originally. As well, I added a "Physiology section" that described the compound eye of this moth and its small receptive field. Thanks!

Unusual terminology - discal

edit

IP editor 74.96.91.220 is correct in this edit summary. I'm not sure what "discal" is supposed to be here, since that wing region is not disc-shaped but... that is what the source says. Invasive Spices (talk) 15:40, 4 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
