Plot
editThe plot summary needs to be slimmed down. Ssilvers 20:59, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Critical Reception
editI appeared in a production of "Engaged" in 19983, and according to the programme initial critical reception to its début was far from universally positive, some critics finding it too cynical, one complaining of "too many wafts of acid" and another opining "None of the characters in this play behaves with anything other than the utmost moral depravity". I canr provide references, but if a Gilbert fan would like to chase them up they'd add to the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShabbyTiger (talk • contribs) 23:12, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Assessment
editI assessed this as mid-importance for the theatre project because it influenced Oscar Wilde's work strongly. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:55, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
