Which Emotiv?

There may be more than one Emotiv company. Even Newsweek has problems with this.[1].

• "Emotiv Systems" - as described in Wired in 2012 as a San Francisco based company. [2]. Dropped out of the California Secretary of State's corporation listing. Was at 1745 SUTTER STREET, San Francisco.

• "Emotiv" - https://emotiv.com - apparently active. At 490 POST STREET, SUITE 824, San Francisco.

Both seem to be doing roughly the same thing, and Tan Le is associated with both. There should be some corporate event associated with this. Bankruptcy? Reorganization? Buyout? Let's not be dishonest (no speculations, but only stating facts supported by concrete evidences) and use unambiguous language herein ("seem" "may" "appear" etc. should not be utilised when there are verifiable facts):

(1) There're no such things as "There may be more than one Emotiv company": there're 2 distinc legal entities "Emotiv" and "Emotiv Systems" both of which Tan Le has associated with;

(2) However, whilst Nam Do was involved in "Emotiv Systems" he has no role whatsoever in "Emotiv": "Emotiv" is currently active and "Emotiv Systems" has no longer existed, and these are 2 undeniable facts which can be verified by searching Business Entity at California Secretary of State http://kepler.sos.ca.gov ;

(3) Speculations such as "There should be some corporate event associated with this" and "Bankruptcy? Reorganization? Buyout? Founders had falling out?" are not facts and of no use since they are internal affairs of the companies requiring insiders' knowledge ;

(4) Drawing a clear distinction between "Emotiv" and "Emotiv Systems" is vitally important since Nam Do is a serial liar who has deliberately been using the terms "Emotiv" and "Emotiv Systems" interchangeably to con investors' money out of them into the fraud scheme SeeSpace with almost 1.400 victims affected globally from the U.S. to Europe: Nam Do has stated on https://www.fundable.com/seespace-inair-staples that "The Startup Mastermind Nam Do is serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of successful startup experience. He is the co-founder of Emotiv Systems, a world leading brain-computer interface company that raised $1.6MM on Kickstarter last year" . (5) I'm no longer interested in editing this page because there are so many fraudulent activities committed by Nam Do that I had exposed on the "External links" section but has been removed by other editors/contributors who label them as "defamatory" - then had me "blocked" for telling the truth. It is clear that some "editors/contributors" here in Wikipedia have no understanding whatsoever about Truth vs. Defamation - a case in point: the recently published Panama Papers is a "defamation" of the shady characters involved ? What I'm more interested is preventing more victims from falling prey to Nam Do's lies and scams: after defrauding investors and supporters/buyers via fraud scheme SeeSpace, Nam Do has fled from San Francisco to Hanoi in order to evade the US and other international authorities on one hand and to set up new scheme on the other hand. Nothing above references a WP:RS reliable source. Unsubstantiated allegations will get you nowhere. That's why you're not getting anywhere on Wikipedia. You may be right. But your claims are not verifiable by others. Please read WP:V. What we can report, though, is that there were lots of announcements from the companies in the 2003-2009 period, and then we can report on the product reviews. Thanks. But when you click "Emotiv" it takes you straight to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/emotiv/?pnref=about.overview of Emotiv. Here, Nam Do wrote: "Studied Bachelor of Applied Science (Planning) at RMIT University". But searching on Google reveals such a qualification is non-existent. On the other hand, Nam Do has been claiming on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nam-do-b6b9974 that he completed a 5-year Bachelor of Science in Strategic Planning at RMIT, but, again, such a qualification doesn't even exist, let alone it takes 5 year to complete.

- Nam Do inserts the web link of Emotiv http://www.emotiv.com on the bottom left corner of his page on xmedialab in which he has fraudulently claimed he'd been the Co-founder and CEO of Emotiv http://www.xmedialab.com/mentor/nam-do

NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH: what had been previously edited/contributed by other "editors/contributors" is a scam!

There is a concrete evidence that the previous Wikipedia page containing the misleading/deceptive representation had been edited by Nam Do himself or his associates.

Since the last edition on 14 April 2016, Nam Do has on his Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/nam.ster.3/about still given the link https://www.facebook.com/pages/Emotiv-Systems/107670445923038?pnref=about.overview to redirect readers to the relevant page of Wikipedia, but readers can only read up to the below paragraph:
