After I recently edited this article, it was reverted to a previous form, with the edit comment "Contains unverifiable facts and evidence". (Although there was no means given of verifiying the previous versions either.)

So I propose to edit the article to make it more in line with a reliable, written source: the biography of the author in Short Stories from Syros at Project Gutenberg.

All the verification you need is in Short Stories from Syros at Project Gutenberg, if you can read Greek. I will edit the article shortly.
