El Plateado is a remarkable land of people a population of only 1,000 people, the habitants are united in a way. But the past years, the administrations that took over the town has been dictatorship. In 2000, a candidate running for office, Nicholas Avila promised the people that he would change the system and help the poor. Later then he became mayor of the rugged town. During his reign between 2000-2003 he became angry toward the innocent people killing at least 10 persons undercover, he had a secret police that the people of Joaquin Amaro hated they established wrong inconsistenses.
