well this is just silly

...so the island itself is not notable enough for an entry, but the state park situated on the island is? This makes no sense. proposed move

I think we should move this to Egmont Key. It's far more notable and historical than the park. It was here long before the park and will be here long after it closes. Dlohcierekim 17:39, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

County

The text say that the park belongs to Hillsborough County. Does it not belong to Pinellas County? —Preceding unsigned comment added by StudioHertz (talk • contribs) 23:49, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

The island is in a narrow strip of Hillsborough County jurisdiction between Pinellas and Manatee counties. The strip runs along the main shipping channel from the Gulf of Mexico into Tampa. clariosophic (talk) 01:31, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
