Note to researchers
editThe Stradlings had many Edwards, Johns, Henrys (also known as "Harry") and Thomas's in the lineage; the naming of which may have been relevant to the reigning monarch at the time and/or, of course, relevant to previous parental influences, as was the custom of the time. It is important to designate the name with the birth and death date and include parents if at all possible (as was done above) in order to be sure that the reader will know exactly which individual is being discussed.
