One of the last edit
This man is one of only two surviving men of E company. It is sad to see and know this as we continue to lose hundreds of Veterans who served in WW2. It is eternally sad to know that they generation of WW2 survivors will die in my life time. It is our jobs as newer generation to record their stories and keep them alive even when the men who have told them and lived them have passed on into history. Colonel Shames passed away on December 3rd, 2021. Request changing all present tense verbs to past tense. Aguyinanambulance (talk) 03:53, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
