added the fact the road never gose to ecorse

Ecorse Township

edit

The Road doesn't make it to Ecorse the City, but the road does run right through what used to be ecorse township. The old Township of Ecorse used to encompass, Southgate, Taylor and parts of Allan Park, and Deaborn Heights, not to mention the City of Ecorse. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.220.16.62 (talk) 06:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

This article is still unsourced. It should be deleted or improved. Another option is to merge it into M-17. --Imzadi1979 (talk) 04:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

You can start with [1]. --NE2 00:13, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
There's no mention of Ecorse Road there at all. --Imzadi1979 (talk) 00:46, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ecorse Road is US 12 there: [2] --NE2 01:04, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
That still doesn't explain how the rest of the road is notable at all as a state highway. the project scope for WP:MISH is for State Trunklines only. the minor portion of Ecorse that carries the US 12 or M-17 designations is not enough alone to justify its inclusion in MISH. It is better served only being tagged as part of WP:USST if not outright deleted or merged into other articles. If you feel it should stay, I suggest you clean the article up to much higher standards. --Imzadi1979 (talk) 01:31, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you're not interested in it, leave it alone. It's a historic high-speed roadway and belongs in the project best suited to cover those. --NE2 02:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
