Adding this page knocked a redlink off over 100 other Silicon Valley pages. But it's only a stub - so it needs more work. If you have more details, be bold like Wikipedia tradition encourages and add them! Ikluft (talk) 01:21, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Please read the following setence that is in the article: "In 1993, the Spillman Engineering 3 Abroad carousel, made c.1920 by Allan Herschell Company was restored and placed in the mall. The carousel has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2000."
    • I went to see this carousel at the Eastridge mall today and it is no longer there. A staff worker confirmed that the carousel has been gone for a while. If anyone knows what happened to the carousel, please let me know. The article should be updated to reflect the current status of the carousel.

The change you are requesting is based entirely on original research; this is prohibited by Wikipedia's WP:OR policy, which states:

Wikipedia articles must not contain original research…To demonstrate that you are not adding original research, you must be able to cite reliable, published sources that are directly related to the topic of the article and directly support the material being presented.

What you believe you have witnessed at the mall, or what you have heard via word-of-mouth from a staff worker don't count as reliable sources since they are not published. Please provide reliable published sources that confirm the closure or absence of the carousel if you wish to request a change. Left guide (talk) 00:38, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
