editWhat about the remaining few kilometers of the freeway? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.127.207.140 (talk) 08:56, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- I believe the entire freeway is now open. Do you have a source that says a few kilometers are remaining? BigJolly9 (talk) 09:21, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- The article mentions in that only part of it have been opened. Take a look at the blue infobox on the right for instance, it says 16.8km, but elsewhere in the article it says 14km. It also says that it will be fully opened in 2014, but no reference has been provided? I think I also remember that when it opened, it was not a 100 percent complete.203.26.123.208 (talk) 10:20, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- The lead says "A 13.59 km stretch of the freeway, comprising two of three segments with one of the twin tunnels, from Orange Gate on P D'Mello Road up to Panjarpol, near RK Studios in Chembur, was opened to the public on 14 June 2013. The second tunnel was opened on 12 April 2014. The third and final segment from Panjarpol to Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road (GMLR) was opened on 16 June 2014." In other words, the first segment of the freeway was opened on 14 June 2013, followed by another segment on 12 April 2014 and the entire freeway was opened to the public on 14 June. This source mentions that "The final phase of the freeway was inaugurated by chief minister Prithviraj Chavan on Monday [14 June] afternoon." BigJolly9 (talk) 14:46, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, that makes sense now. So the final phase was opened a few days ago then. Thanks. 101.178.163.8 (talk) 08:49, 25 June 2014 (UTC)
