I've noted company articles are getting deleted on the grounds of 'notability' without any discussion taking place beforehand.

I removed the 'notability' tag from this article because this is a 4.5 billion dollar company and a significant player in the oil & gas industry in the USA, something which can be readily determined if you spend just 20 seconds doing an internet search.

I agree the article does not have enough content, but this was not the reason given on the tag to justify the deletion. I'll see if I can do some research and try to add more to the article in future.

Better do it soon or I may send it to AfD. If you knew anything about speedy deletion, you'd know that a "reason" (other than the tag itself) is not given.--Bbb23 (talk) 04:38, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
