Requested move
editThe request is to move this page to the simpler East Millinocket, Maine. The modifier of "(town)" had been used to distinguish from the census-designated place "(CDP)" by the same name, but the CDP is merely a statistical compilation with no legal weight. All info about East Millinocket other than demographic info for the town center belongs in the town page.--Ken Gallager (talk) 15:31, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
- Endorse. The redirect page has a history solely because editors failed to find this already existing article. And this will standardize our Maine town naming. GRBerry 16:11, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Note - there are several pending move requests for the remaining towns in Maine which have "(town)" in their titles. This discussion page is the place to discuss all of the proposed moves.--Ken Gallager (talk) 16:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
This move request was moved to the "Uncontroversial proposals" section at WP:RM, and I went ahead and completed the moves. I've also fixed the resulting double-redirects. If I can be of any further help, please let me know. -GTBacchus(talk) 19:24, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
