editI've removed the following information for which a citation has been requested since 2008:
"The Merriam-Webster dictionary has taken one of its definitions of funambulism from an essay of his on the subject [citation needed]. It is a common strategy of his to identify characters in literary works who demonstrate the psychological trait of funambulism."
If an editor would like to restore the info, please ensure it has a reliable source included and perhaps the meaning of the phrase could be explained as it is unclear as currently written. --Jezebel'sPonyoshhh 20:41, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
