Ralph the Staller and Ralph de Gauder
editCurrently, these two are listed as earls of Suffolk of the first creation, however their individual pages state they were Earls of East Anglia, not 'Earl of Norfolk and Suffolk'. So, are they really the first earls of Suffolk, or are the later creations unrelated to their title? I don't want to remove them and renumber the creations if there's evidence for them being earls of Suffolk, but at the moment it seems like their title was different to the later creations, being more similar to the Anglo-Saxon Earldom of East Anglia.
