If you think you knew everything about audio watermarking in the later half of the 1990s, think again. From what we studied in my Audio Watermarking class, Earl Levine dealt with the subject in a unique way that forced a paradigm shift in the way that we think about, feel about, and look at audio watermarking.
At the time he was relatively unheralded in the general cryptology world, but in many ways his work was the completion of the long forgotten dream to accurately model not just optimized watermarking, not just the cryptology behind it, but the very structure on which all security and identification of songs depended. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.201.171.107 (talk) 04:44, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- We learned about Earl Levine's work in my grad school cryptology class when we covered watermarking. Most of the audio watermarking chapter was devoted to his research and inventions. I'm surprised his Wikipedia page is this lean. 73.93.85.166 (talk) 10:22, 14 April 2023 (UTC)
