EMD GM6C edit

The page content appears to be a duplicate of the one linked above. I don't have enough knowledge on said locos so if anyone can clarify it would be appreciated. Wongm (talk) 11:38, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

It was indeed a near duplicate of the GM6C article and so I’ve updated the article with new text, information and an image. ThatArmyDude (talk) 10:52, 11 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Generator or Alternator ? edit

seeing as the GM10B is an electric locomotive using overhead wires to provide traction current wouldn't it use an alternator to convert it's traction current for the traction motors.

I ask as the info box states it has an EMD produced engine-generator set which is unlikely as that would mean the GM10B is a dual power locomotive.

is anyone able to shed some light on this and possibly alter the info box to match ?
