Vossloh, also C175 edit
Article should probably mention that the carbody is designed by Vossloh Spain (Vossloh España) http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/passenger/single-view/view/metrolink-orders-emd-passenger-locomotives.html
- " The locomotives are to feature a streamlined monocoque body designed by Vossloh Rail Vehicles" http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/passenger/single-view/view/metrolink-orders-emd-passenger-locomotives.html
also the "running gear" (probably means bogies)
- The locomotives will also be equipped with VRV high-speed running gear .. (VRV is Vossloh Rail Vehicles) see http://www.railjournal.com/index.php/locomotives/los-angeles-metrolink-orders-tier-4-diesels-from-emd.html
..Are these the first locomotives with a CAT C175 engine (along with the Vossloh Eurolight) ? Prof.Haddock (talk) 00:43, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
The Metrolink web site says they have purchased 40 locomotives for $300 million. http://www.metrolinktrains.com/pdfs/MetrolinkMatters/metrolink_matters_2016_AprMay.pdf — Preceding unsigned comment added by Astrayelmgod (talk • contribs) 05:18, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
discrepancy between axle load and locomotive mass? edit
axle load is normally defined as the total mass divided by the number of axles? in this case there is a discrepancy between locomotive mass and the four axles. Can someone check that?

Replacement reasons? edit
