To do list edit

This is not a bad assessment of Nickles's career, though it has omissions and a bit of a POV. Here's a partial list of things to do. AndersW (talk) 02:39, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  1. Citations are conspicuous by their absence. Now there are some in Early Life.
  2. Recommend a separate section(s) on U.S. Senate service
    1. Ideological stuff now in the summary to a section of its own.
      1. Social conservative
      2. Fiscal conservative - balanced budget
      3. Hostile to taxation
      4. Hostile to bureaucracy and big government
      5. Blacks
        1. MLK holiday
        2. Confirming black judges
        3. Voting rights act reauthorization
    2. Committee
      1. membership
      2. chairmanships
  3. Offices held box omits Oklahoma State Senate service.
  4. Honors and awards, such as OSU chair (see OSU foundation annual report cited in the article.)

Does there really need to be a citation that he's in the movie Traffic? Doesn't the movie itself serve as the source? Of all the things in this article that need to be cited, that's an odd one to single out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.228.182.150 (talk) 16:23, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

National Guard Service edit

There are references that say Nickles joined the Kansas National Guard, at least initially. Also, there were no references found as of yet that specify his rank. If this information can be verified, it should be added to the article. Semper fi! FieldMarine (talk) 13:15, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
