Technology not product edit

Doc AI is a computer science technology and was so before Google Cloud developed a product of the same name. It remains a technology that is not only used by GoogleCloud (Eigen Technologies, for example, use this tech) and so this article should reflect that to avoid being promotional. I also think that including Google's pricing in inappropriate and promotional and suggest we remove it. Miriumjenkins (talk) 09:55, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

The article still feels very promotional, and the term itself seems to be buzzword for a broad collection of NLP tools that otherwise go under more conventional terms as Natural Language Understanding, without *any* backing in scientific literature. In particular, it is *completely absent* from the ACL Anthology (https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=de&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=%22document+AI%22+site%3Aaclweb.org&btnG=). I *strongly* encourage to replace this article into a redirect to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-language_understanding (and possibly include parts of the current text there). Uses/Visualization edit

Added some more uses that were referred to in the references, and fixed some grammatical problems as well as punctuation. Also added an image from Google visualizing DocAi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakemoss33 (talkcontribs) 19:18, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Pricing edit

Since this is a product owned and offered solely by Google Cloud, I added a general overview on their pricing model for both the free and paid features as provided by Google Cloud. I provided information I deemed necessary to know about their service without making it sound too promotional. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raspberrydonuts (talkcontribs) 19:18, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Promotional Content edit

I have removed some sections of the page that felt designed to promote this technology but did not contribute to our understanding of it. I have also altered some language that did not sound entirely objective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pavoni64 (talkcontribs) 17:07, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
