buddhist trinity

The trinity of Past/Present/Future as represented by Dipankara, Shakyamuni and Maitreya is rather common in Chinese buddhism, while the other "buddhas of the past" are hardly known. I think it deserves mentioning. 157.229.224.54 (talk) 14:19, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Spelling

The article says the Pali is both Dīpaṃkara and Dīpaṅkara. Can we settle on one?--Shantavira|^{feed me} 12:20, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
