This article was written more like a research article than it is a wikipedia article. There were in-text citations, making the article more difficult to read and follow along and the citations lacked a hyperlink to the references at the bottom of the page, which made it confusing and difficult to actually find the citations. I noticed that statements were properly cited, if it were for a research article, but nothing was plagiarized. There was not any bias in this article, which was beneficial considering it was all statements and it was not swaying me from one potential idea to another, as they were all concrete facts. Hello! I think this is a very interesting topic and thought that this article was very informative and well written. However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement; adding more information and citations under the "functions" header would be beneficial and elaborating more on how dinotoxins can specifically impact the economy would be a nice addition to give readers more of an understanding on the topic. Hello. This article was very well written and offered a lot of interesting information. I didn't find any significant errors, just a sentence error in the "Applications" section when you talked about toxin assays. If you wish to improve this article more information about the functions would be beneficial. Otherwise, this article was structured very well, was unbiased, and presented a lot of information.Abigail elaine13 (talk) 00:54, 5 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I think instead of a semicolon a colon should be used in this sentence, "Dinotoxins are produced for one of two intentional reasons; either to aid in predation or to act as a defense against predation." Also, what metabolic process takes place where these unintentional byproducts are produced? I feel like this could be expanded a little more to complete this section. Also, explain what the polyketide pathway is or cite link it to a wikipage if there is one that has been produced. I think there is a lot of good information here and the application section is very well constructed! It makes readers aware of why this topic is of concern. Good work! Hello. I thought this article was very well written. In the last sentence of common toxins there is a small typo. It says "this toxins comprises" I think the s should be removed from toxin. Also, I had a few similar thought as mentioned above, for example elaborating on the function section. Overall I thought that this article was well written, and is very informational. I really like this article, Good job!

After reviewing the changes and edits that have been made to this article, I think it looks awesome! There are primary literature references, and each fact has a corresponding citation. There was no evident bias in the article and I did not notice any typos. Verashark (talk) 18:59, 8 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This article overall is very detailed and beneficial. In the background section you say "Dinotoxins are impacting not only the marine ecosystem, but our economy as well.[4] Various marine life is impacted by dinotoxins, having an effect on the whole ecosystem. The economic impact is increasing compared to past years, due to the increase in seafood consumption, and coastal tourism.[4]" The sentences in this region could be rearranged to flow better, as at first it is unclear how the economy is impacted. Overall it looks like you have a wide range of sources and grammar and spelling looks good! Woollyworm (talk) 15:03, 9 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi! This article looks to be well-sourced and contains a variety of information that gives a good basic understanding of dinotoxins. I think it would be beneficial to include more detail on the metabolic processes that lead to the production of dinotoxins and maybe generally expand on the "Functions" section a bit more.
