Talk:Digital Audio Stationary Head

The PCM-3348HR and D827 are not capable of 20-bit 96 kHz operation. They run at 44.056, 44.1 and 48 kHz sample rates

The 3348HR is a 16 and 24-bit machine, with full 48 tracks at the expense of 50% tape speed increase in 24 bit mode. The D827, i'm not so sure, but it seems that it can work in 16/20/24-bit resolutions, with 24-bit offering only half the track count. Both machines were not designed for 96kHz operation, i don't know if they could be modified to do so. --Dulldull 17:59, 24 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't "DASH" have a link to this page? edit

It took me ages to find. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.219.157.106 (talk) 14:26, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

... boasts strong Cyclic redundancy check error correction ... edit

CRC is an error detection mechanism, not an error corrector. This article should be corrected.Trappist the monk (talk) 17:23, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
