Stage to Script Changes edit

Moved to talk, seems like trivia. RJFJR (talk) 16:16, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

When the play adapts into a motion picture a lot of changes are made in the script, including the years Helen and Charles's have been married (changing from 20 to 18 years). In the play, Brenda and Helen are friends but in the movie they just met when Brenda was cheating with Charles. Also, Helen is best friends with Debra who is married to Helen's cousin Brian. Madea goes to Helen's house in the play; however, in the movie Helen goes to Madea's house. In the play Helen stays married to Charles; however, in the movie Helen divorces Charles and marries Orlando.
