Talk:Denver Performing Arts Complex

Corrections and updates edit

It seems that I was wrong when I first expanded on the DCPA article, thinking that it was the performance space. There seem to be two entities involved here and another editor has created the second of the two organizations noted below:

Denver Center for the Performing Arts, not really a building but an organization and

Denver Performing Arts Complex which is the building in which the theatre and performance spaces are located.

I have revised both to comply with the overall look for multi-facility spaces, to clean up what were purely commercial promotional statements (such as how to buy tickets - easily found on the organizations' websites); and a clearer explanation of the diffrences and activities of the two organizations.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY SIGNIFICANT REVISIONS TO THE ORGANIZATION OF THIS MATERIAL UNTIL IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED ON THIS PAGE. Vivaverdi 19:17, 13 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

2nd largest? edit

According to the University of Maryland, the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is the largest performing arts center on any University campus on the east coast, covering nearly 17 acres."[1] How can this smaller 12 acre center be 2nd largest? Is there some other measure (i.e. budget?) Pdbailey 02:12, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can only assume that size refers more to seating capacity than anything else. With over 10,000 seats, surely it is bigger than the Clarice Smith Center?? Viva-Verdi 14:16, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
