Characters

Two changes to description of characters: noting that Damon's birthfather was also named Damon and changing Dick's description from "handicapped" to "disabled" (modern preference). XFLQR (talk) 00:16, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Plot

The current plot stub is very insufficient and clearly underdeveloped compared to other similar articles. @WikiDan61: it is unclear to me why it was reverted and why the current plot was deemed satisfactory and not needing expansion? @StevenDinosaur: Please refer to Wikipedia:How to write a plot summary. The plot summary you created added over 10k characters to an article that was previously only 15k (in other words, your plot summary comprised about 40% of the entire article). That's too much. There's even a maintenance template ({{Long plot}}) warning against this. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 13:31, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

@WikiDan61: Thank you, however, it seems like the current version lacks the context, details on characters, and thematic information that would bring the plot in alignment with the guidelines mentioned. @WikiDan61 I've re-edited it to essentially half the previous length and focused in on the details that seem relevant according to the guidelines mentioned. It's a fairly long book, so hopefully this is a better capture. StevenDinosaur (talk) 14:35, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
